Garos Island

Garos Island lies off the coast of mainland Krabi near Ban Thung. A day trip in a small long-tailed fishing boat will take you past mangroves and limestone karst islands to Garos, where you can see somewhat sinister prehistoric wall paintings and several caves used as traditional burial grounds for sea gypsies.
